Meet Carl

Carl Jackson is a longtime Baltimore County resident with deep family roots in the county he continues to call home. The oldest of five children, he learned responsibility at a young age while helping care for his siblings. His humble beginnings allowed him to witness firsthand the area’s economic, societal, and political challenges - inspiring him at an early age to be involved in efforts aimed at addressing the roadblocks he experienced. 

 

While a student at Overlea High School, Carl enrolled in the Academy of Finance program, which incorporated business expertise into the curriculum. Through this opportunity, he began formulating fresh ideas for helping communities end the cycle of poverty, drugs, and violence. 

 

Carl began working full time at the University of Maryland-Baltimore (UMB) while also attending Strayer University. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and later pursued his master’s degree in Business Management.
